Our Graduate Employment Service department gives you access to a network of quality employers who rely on the expertise of Westervelt graduates. Our trained professionals will do everything possible to help your Westervelt education reap rewards for you by assisting in resume writing, interview skills, and career strategies.

Career Strategies Instruction

All of our students receive in-class instruction on: how to effectively promote their skills and abilities; how to write resumes and cover letters that get you the job; how to prepare for an interview; how to effectively promote your skills and abilities to potential employers; how to find jobs in both the hidden and visible markets; and how to ensure you get a career in the field you want. Each student can also draw on the experience of our staff with personal, one-on-one career strategies assistance.

Graduate Employment Services (G.E.S.)

Our relationship doesn’t end with your graduation. At Westervelt, we take pride in assisting both recent graduates and long-time alumni. All students can register with G.E.S., a free service that will help you connect with employers. We give you ongoing guidance and support – a cheerleader for your personal job search campaign.
