Join us this Thursday as we discuss and demonstrate how to dissect organs for Urinalysis and diagnosing heart conditions and diseases. In the Urinary Systems & Urinalysis course, students study the functions of the Urinary System and the tests associated with diagnosing kidney disorders. In the Heart and Circulatory - Vitals, ECG & Holter Monitor course, students dissect and examine the heart and learn about the path flow of blood.
Taught and led by instructor Amber Wannamaker, you will receive insight into the human body and the type of work that is carried out by Medical Laboratory Assistants and Technicians.
The Medical Laboratory Assistant / Technician program at Westervelt is designed to ensure you have the knowledge and hands-on skills you need to succeed in any laboratory setting. Our medical lab classrooms allow you to have experience handling modern lab equipment while practicing safe and sterile lab procedures.
