Police Foundations
12 month diploma program
|
Exceed police academy standards and your own expectations when you enroll in the
Police Foundations Diploma Program.
Westervelt’s Police Foundations program, taught by active and recently retired
police officers, goes well beyond the province’s training standards. Our Police
Foundation instructors know what it takes to gain employment in municipal,
provincial or federal police services across the country. That means you’ll be
more than ready for the Constable Selection Process you’ll encounter when
applying to police services.
Recruiters desire Westervelt's style of training where you’ll wear a uniform and
adhere to the daily regimen and discipline required of a police officer.
Rigorous training ensures you become fully versed in Criminal and Civil Law,
Criminology, Principles of Evidence and more.

"After reviewing many colleges, I chose Westervelt based on
its outstanding reputation. The college has stood the test of time and is an
extremely well structured, and highly recognized institution. The Police
Foundations program is built upon expertise and experience offered by top-notch
instructors. The classes are small and personal allowing for individual
attention. It was this mix of knowledge and support that gave me the tools to
realize my dream career. I want to take this opportunity to thank the staff and
instructors at Westervelt college for helping me to fulfill my life-long dream.
You people are certainly the reason why Westervelt is so successful. Thank you
again."
