In today’s global environment, there are no borders to business and Logistics & Supply Chain managers are required to manage the series of business processes that move products from acquisition through to distribution. Areas covered include Project Management, Transportation Management, Demand Forecasting and more.
The Program is 60 weeks and includes the following courses: Introduction to Business Logistics, Logistics and Transportation Management, Demand Forecasting and Inventory Management, Purchasing and Supply Chain Management, Economics, Business Organization, Small Business Management, Project Management, Operations Management, and various other administrative courses. Graduates of our program can expect to qualify for positions as Shipper/Receiver, Sales and Marketing Manager, Warehouse Operations Manager, Purchasing and Inventory Clerk, Purchasing Manager, Logistics/Inventory Manager, Retail and Wholesale Buyer and Facilities Manager.
Provide a high-quality academic environment using appropriate teaching and learning techniques in compliance with the college’s policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Responsible for instructional delivery of assigned course of study including facilitating material, communicating with students and evaluating activities.
This position is part time Monday - Friday
Qualified candidates should be familiar with business logistics, logistics and transportation management, demand forecasting and inventory management and purchasing and supply chain management. Training, facilitation or instruction experience will be an asset.
